Vienna update {photo}

Here's Vienna, she's been with me quite a while now. She's still got major thyroid problems - but hopefully the medication is finally starting to work. She should be having surgery soon to remove one thyroid gland. She is going to go & stay with another lady from tonight who will foster her in her house until a permanent home is found.She's really lovely. Do you have room in your home for Vienna? All thyroid medication will be covered for the rest of her life.

It just makes her metabolism work overtime, so she's always hungry, eats loads , drinks loads & doesn't put on weight. the tablets should balance the hormone levels out so that the thyroid glands wrk as they should. She was on a small dose, then had an increse, then another increase, now she's on the highest dose she can have, but I'm fairly hopefull that this time it is starting to work as she is less hungry & seems to have gained a little weight too. A blood test will show if things are more normal.
