Vet visit tonight

Had barney at the vet tonight due to his nose looking really sore and red. Thought i would post a photo of it to show how bad it looks

Turns out we were right to take him to the vet as he has a deep rooted infection in his muzzle which has poss bn caused by a run in with a hedgehog believe it or not!! Vet said he has seem quite a few similar cases with spaniels and lurchers!!

Poor soul has even missed his training course tonight

His nose has also been quite swollen and bruised which the vet is bamboozled with as its not related to the infection.

Re: Vet visit tonight

He got a steroid injection and antibiotics. To take him back on Friday. He was as good as gold at the vets in the busy waiting room and when the vet was examining him!!
