My poor Sister-in-law

Just found out today that she's got shingles. Poor thing as if she hasn't got enough going on with Gordon.

Ouch, I've had that and it's not pleasant

One of the triggers can be stress so I suspect everything going on for them atm could be at the root.

Hope both of them are doing OK.

Re: My poor Sister-in-law

Someone told me that Grete. Seemingly it stays dormant in the body for years.
I just hope she's ok by the time Gordon goes into hospital. I wouldn't imagine that they would let her visit if she still had shingles.

Mmm - I bet it is stress. And I think you're right Jac - the hospital wouldn't welcome that virus being introduced. Chemo patients are very susceptible to it anyway, and of course if your resistance is low the effect is heightened.
Hope she can throw it off soon.
