He's like our very first cat (survived 6 weeks post-wedding without a cat!) from 1972! He was called Sissons (long story, don't ask) which is apparently hugely funny if you are a vet. We used to wonder why they always had a giggle at his name but it's because the anatomy book vets use (like Gray's Anatomy for doctors) is Sissons  Siss (pronounced Sizz) lived to 16+ and was happy with the subsequent arrival of babies, dogs and other cats. Hope Jerry does well - he looks at home. Good on you for caring for him AND being ready to give him up. |
