He was first painted by my sister about 36 years ago now, when she was at school. Has been repainted a fair few times now and most recently by Molly about 5 years ago. Waiting for Lizzie to hold a paint brush for her turn, he needs a bit of a wash and brush up. |

About 20 years ago he was "rebranded" as Stormin Norman. But has reverted back to plain old Norman for the last 10 years or more. |

Wonder if he gets a bit hot in that jumper? Does he have a hat on too? That's probably a good idea in the sunshine We inherited a gnome here ..... so he's not as old as Norman but he's been repainted twice. It's terrible bad luck (or so I'm told) to try to get rid of a gnome. Would you say Norman is an "honorary" gnome? |
