I'll watch it either on TV or maybe if it comes back to the local cinema again (there was a showing last Sunday but my OH was otherwise engaged). Mark Kermode, whose opinions usually coincide with mine (except he likes horror and I don't) says it is really a TV production rather than cinema, so I suppose that means I won't miss any great effects if I watch it on the little box. From the clips Helen Mirren has captured a great deal of the actual Queen. In contrast, the actor playing Tony Blair seemed more like Rory Bremner but maybe the clips aren't reflective of the whole film |
