Son in hospital...

Got a call from the hospital at 3 am, my son had collapsed at work (he does night shift) was taken to the local hospital, and ihas been transfered to the Aberdeen Infirmary, suspected appendix..
He felt dizzy at about 2am, phoned the relief manager,to try to get cover so he could come home, who told him basically to stop swinging the lead, and get on with his work! Needless to say, I stopped on the way home and spoke to the owner, let him know I was not amused!
He has had a pain in his side for months, been both to the doctor and casulty with it, just was told he had pulled a muscle...Waiting now to hear if they will operate...

So sorry to hear this Moli. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. I had my appendix out when I was 14, quite straightforward op, probably more so now. Thinking of you both.

Re: Son in hospital...

hope hes feeling better soon - and that boss of his had better start doing some serious grovelling!

I can't believe your son had to phone his own ambulance - thats serious neglect at your work!
