Winter roads in Aberdeen today.


Not as stunning as pictures I have seen from Canada but here goes.
Stuck in traffic for an hour.

Winter road

Freezing fog

Winter sky/freezing fog

Very atmospheric photos .... so glad I wasn't there.

Can't recommend any other photo site as I haven't used any other. Will be interested if others come up with recommendations.

Elaine, Photobucket upgraded their site some months ago. When they changed, there was a link near the top right (after you had logged in) which allowed you to switch back to the old system if you wished. I chose the previous version and still use it now.

May be a good idea to check if the link is still there...

Do you have snow chains or at least winter tyres? My car would kill itself and me if it had to drive on such roads!

Pamela, the freezing fog was later in the day although there were patches of it in the morning too. The other 2 pictures were in the morning.
Yola, I have winter tyres but on Monday the snow was heavy and wet and the tyre treads just got clogged and I got stuck loads, was fine once the van was moving but if I had to stop the wheels would just spin until they got a grip.
Moli, I thought you'd have been much worse up there.
