Sunny Wednesday

Started out very overcast and rainy, but has cheered up a lot, blue sky and sunny. OH has managed to get his wet golf bag out in the sun to dry out and has washed his golf trousers and hung them out to dry - he got very muddy yesterday!

I see Kazz's news is hopeful .... and I hope that she will be nearer coming home later on.

I have my gynae appointment this afternoon. OH was going to come with me as another pair of ears - in case I forget things that are said, but the clinic is held in the Women and Children's block of the hospital and I think that he will feel uncomfortable. Not sure if they'd let him in. Will have to wait for another time until I know how the land lies in there.

Quiz tonight for all who would like to join in. It's a fairly simple one this week as I didn't have any inspiration and so all the Qs are "borrowed"!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Re: Sunny Wednesday

I am sure they will let him in Angie.....I am on hold at the moment.

Waiting waiting..........and waiting.

Not sure of the weather or anything but one of the ladies has gone home from my ward and two others are sleeping and one has sneaked off for a cigarette I think so me and Sue are chatting......This is my last post I think. Off for a scan in a bit so sending my laptop home.....can't lug it around with me.

So best of luck Angie let me know how it goes.

Have a good day all.

Re: Sunny Wednesday

Best of luck Karen . . . and Angie; I'm sure OH would be allowed along, it's nice to have company on hospital visits.

I'm in the office today after a day in London yesterday. It's a mix of rain and sun here and not so cold. Cottage cheese and oat biscuits for lunch together with gallons of purple grape juice to keep the energy levels up

It's Dominik's parents' evening today - he's doing so well with his work that I can't imagine there will by anything we don't want to hear

Re: Sunny Wednesday

At work at the moment - weather has brightened up somewhat since this morning.. only an hour to go for me then hometime.

Best of luck to Kazz and Angie with their hospital dealings today.

Nothing much to report from me, so will just have a nose around the forum.

Re: Sunny Wednesday

Sun at the moment, but can you believe they are forecasting more snow tomorrow?! Hedging on the amount, 4 - 6"possibly; just what we need when the old stuff is finally melting. This will be a primarily northern blizzard, we're on the fringes of it... supposedly. It's 3 (38 F) now. No errands today so a lie-in and the usual chores this morning.

The snow on the porch roof is melting, and I have a bucket underneath a drip by the porch steps to catch the water: I think the rainwater is much better for the plants than the chlorinated tap water; we shall see.

Best thoughts for Kazz and Angie at hospital. Looking forward to the quiz tonight, do come if you can, it's always fun!

Re: Sunny Wednesday

You know this thread is called "Sunny Wednesday"? Well, it's pouring with rain now!

I am back from hospital after a bit of a long wait and a painful exam - so I have a soothing cuppa and a couple of biscuits now. I will have to wait a few weeks for the test results/further appointment. OH did take me but did not come in. We had to risk leaving MIL for a couple of hours. I'm glad he was there to drive me home.

Hope Kazz is OK and also hopefully, home again.
