Friday daily

Morning all.

The sun is shinning and there is a nice breeze.....a good drying day.

I am off into the garden to try and tidy it up a bit....nothing to
trenuous...honest. Have to do a bit of food shopping to do and of course walk the dog....may take her a nice walk up the country park not sure.

I feel a fair bit better I am invincible in the house but light headed out and about so I will see, I had a biopsy yesterday and see my consultant on Tuesday so figure all I can do is garden shop and walk the dog.....

Yola hope your vet visit with Balie is going okay 10 wasn't it? and Elaine I hope Eva is home with you.

Everyone have a good day.....see you later.

Re: Friday daily

Morning Kazz and Moli. Lovely day here too, still quite chilly though, but blue sky and as you say Kazz, a lovely drying day. Towels about to go out on the line.

My car died yesterday - battery as dead as a dodo. Mechanic was supposed to come at 11.00 with a new battery (still had original, so over 10 years old) - I just don't do the mileage, but am not willing to forego my independence. Wonder about trading it in, but mine was from new and has very low mileage, so is it worth it??? Just phoned mechanic to see if there's a problem, he's not answering his mobile atm.

Was hoping to get to the garden centre today to get my seed and potting. Ah well ......................

Don't overdo it Kazz - not sure where you get any energy from, not that I begrudge you energy, but I have so little atm. I have another appointment next Friday - lovely

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Friday daily

hope everyone has had a good friday... another humid day here today but with intermittent rain... just enough to wet the ground and then stop...
other than that just catching up on some things around the house due to my self imposed laziness during the winter olympics..
Glad you're feeling a bit better Kazz... dont overdo it..sounds like Spring is starting to show its face a little over there...
10 years for a car battery is good Angie...hope the mechanic doesn't forget your arrangement...trades can be so unreliable at times
Im off to bed...haven't been sleeping very well the last few nights and am over tired... am in a bit of a funk at present... but i know the reason so i just have to ride it out..
Hope everyone has a good day...

Re: Friday daily

Hi all, usual running around day. Balie is at the vet; his thread has been updated. Apart from that I've done school and work run, been to the garden centre for some more wood for the raised beds at the allotment and some soil bags . . . and taken them to the lottie for tomorrow. Have made some calls and am now awaiting a decorator who's coming round to give me a price for painting the outside of my numerous sash windows!

In between am tidying, bleaching, waxing floors and washing things to try and get rid of the faint smell of cat pee. It working

Later need to go to Hobbycraft to get some presents for a party Domi's going to tomorrow and a new lock for the garden gate as the one on there had jammed in the locked position.

Re: Friday daily

Mechanic arrived and fitted new battery! Car now well again - hooray! And I've been to the garden centre and got my seed and potting and a few other bits, like a coir liner for my hanging basket for the catmint! Having lunch now.

Fingers crossed for Balie, Yola.

Re: Friday daily

I've been out for a walk and am now sitting down.
The weather is sunny but still a bit chilly and windy. Hope everyone is having a good day so far and that you enjoy the rest of the day. Xxx

Re: Friday daily

Will it ever warm up? Still below normal here, 3 degrees (38 F), but wind chill is -2, and it's cloudy. To the bank (a long queue), then to Whole Foods; just popped on here before lunch.

Nice to hear you all are busy with things garden: allotments, potting things up, etc; I hope to be doing that soon. Healing vibes for all the poorly people and pusses. Take it easy, Kazz; Angie, nice you have wheels again.

Enjoy the day.

Re: Friday daily

Hi everyone,
i'm finding it difficult to get organised at the moment, Malaika (puppy) seems to take all my time. In a way it's harder than having a baby as a baby stays where you put them at first.
Malaika needs watching constantly when awake.
She can be a bit rough with Tom and Jerry so we have had to introduce a spray bottle. Hate doing it but it seems to be working. She realy wizzed Jerry off, she started to rag his basket, he saw her ,and ran at her whilst hissing.
Hope your appointment goes well on Tue Karen and yours next fri angie.
