I told you Kazz..... you're doing such a grand job....everyone has left it to you to do!

-3 deg
BRRRRRRRRRRRRR it will be yet another sheet night here with the overnight temp not expected to get below 20..
HRH doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that she feels like a hot water bottle when she has draped herself around my neck like a fur scarf!!!

hope everyone has a good day...

Re: Sunday daily

Wonders never cease sunny skies and 5C don't think it's been that since October Can't believe we're warmer than Kazz and Mags!! Hey Jo - quite a way to go before we reach sheet only nights (get that up here about ten days a year

Quite a down day - we've had the vet out to have a ewe PTS. She was prolapsing and despite OH and the vets best efforts over the last few days she was getting worse. So we've lost a good ewe and her twin lambs

Chooks done, dogs walked OH checking flock and then we have some paperwork to do.

Then we're going to Ikea to get a CD tower and blaeberry jam!

have a good day peeps.

Re: Sunday daily

Been to the stables to take Domi riding . . . a quick stop in Waitrose for some cakes in the Costa there. Met a girl that I'd worked with 15 years ago; she says I haven't changed a bit - yeah right
Now about to start cooking up a caponata for dinner (Sicilian Veg Stew) and then maybe some ironing. OH is stripping Sebi's window out in the garden having taking it out and replaced the resulting hole with a ugly peice of board. 200 years' worth of paint and shellac to remove

It's freezing cold but bright and sunny so I might stick my head back outdoors once domestic bits are done.

Re: Sunday daily

Yes, very chilly here but bright blue sky and sunshine. Northerly wind but 3 after overnight frost. We've been out to collect some duvets from the laundry - were going to go to P@H, but the car park was full to bursting, so gave that up for another day.

So far, the downright winner in my "find the food that Kizzy and Pip both eat with gusto" hunt is still Almo Nature Tuna in jelly - they've both had a Sunday treat. Other foods that look similar, eg. Tesco Finest don't get eaten straight away and bowls licked clean - strange that.

Looking at buying some FYM online - have found a wonderful site that does it in bulk with free delivery.

Blaeberry jam from Ikea, CM???? Sounds lovely. I must try that Sicilian Veg Stew some time, but we have sausages and cauliflower cheese tonight. Sounds odd but goes together well!

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Re: Sunday daily

Well been in the garden for a bit and feel refreshed.....its lovely being outside...have come up with a plan to put some decking in.........being measuring up....somewhere for the table and chairs...hopefuly then the garden will then start to look a bit better, than it does now as I am not satisfied...I think I have an idea in my head but can't quite get it hopefuly the decking...will spur me onto a solution.

Have an idea for the front too.....but slowly slowly...

Have moved a few pots about in the back ....not that they look better just different which is always good. And daffs are coming up nicely in them too. Took a couple of pictures not sure they will come out ut you never know will look now.

The dog has been following the sun round the garden she is odd to watch, when the shadow hits where she was sitting she sighs and moves all her toys into the sun.

Having pork chops, mashed and roast potatoes, roast parsnips, cauli and cheese sauce, and either carrots or beans.... for lunch about 4ish.... May follow that with bannana's and custard.....

Re: Sunday daily

We're having a lovely day here, already 7 (45 F) before lunch and will make 15 by afternoon, first time we've been above normal in I can't remember when! And not a cloud in the sky, light breezes, not that persistent wind. Will do a bit of work in the garden this afternoon, chopping down the bamboo, etc.

And ...... my snowdrops and crocus appeared yesterday!

Those where it's chilly, stay warm,. and where it's nice, enjoy!

Crab cake and cauliflower here, curried, not in cheese sauce.
