FernGot back from the hospital last night at 8.30 and had a call from the branch co-ordinator at just after 8.30 to say someone had been round her house with a found ill cat, but because her husband wouldn't take the cat in straight away, she took it and dumped it in the local wood! When H got home she went to look for the cat who was there in the wood. H brought her to me and she is very old and extremely thin with a distended abdomen, she does not look well at all. I'm taking her to the vets now, but I don't think she will be coming back.

Awwwwwww bless what a sad story for the old girl  , it is such a shame that a cats life can end so sadly all alone just abandoned, it makes me so mad and so sad for them |

How can people DO that! At least try and get her in some shelter and care for her, I cannot fathom some people.Hope the poor thing is comfortable or at peace now. |

What a busy morning! I've taken her to the vets and managed to locate her owners and she has now been PTS. She was 17years old. |
