Bank Holiday Monday

Morning all

I have just typed out a lovely long thread and then lost it
So here is a diluted version.

Weather is okay well good I think I was slightly spoiled yesterday with the sunshine. But today is good. Mom has an eye test and that's about it really.

Have a good day all

Re: Bank Holiday Monday

Morning kazz, sorry you lost your other post hope all goes well with your mums eye test.

its wet and miserable here today so doing lots in the house and trying to work round OH who is working on my bike in the house aswell. Finally gotten around to getting a file box to keep things in as paperwork is everywhere in our house . Also stripped our spare bed to freshen it up. We are getting cavity wall insulation done today aswell so poor Skye is terrified with all the noises.

Re: Bank Holiday Monday

Afternoon Kazz, Pamela and those to come later. Sorry about your post Kazz. Hope your Mom's eye test goes well ..... on a B/Holiday??? I guess it's not a public holiday in Scotland.

Lovely weather here, warm a bit breezy but nice. I've weeded the raised veggie bed, hoed around the runner beans and given them a seaweed feed. Going to put a row of beetroot in this pm hopefully. OH has mowed the lawn. Rain is forecast for tomorrow.

Poor Skye Pamela, hope she manages to find somewhere not so noisy in your house. I remember when I had to get my first file for paperwork .... we have a whole filing cabinet now!!!

Have a good day folks. Virtual cuddles to all Catsey cats from me.

Re: Bank Holiday Monday

Hi folks! happy holiday to you.

I rushed around this morning getting all my outside work done, including the shopping so that I could stay indoors this afternoon. I knew the rain was coming, so planned my day around it- gave me the luxury of a PJ afternoon with dvds and a couple of lagers.

Such a nice feeling to know I can unwind. Still, after three years of retirement I can appreciate not giving up a public holiday to go to work. Do you know though, I dream about my work every night, I am still nursing in my dreams and wake up looking at the clock in case I've overslept or missed a call so strange!

I imagine that's because it is ingrained in your DNA
