It's Tuesday

All day!And a beautiful one, the rains are finally over and the sun is shining. A bit brisk with a North wind, 14 C (51 ). To the market, also picked up a nice yellow miniature dahlia for the porch steps.

Hope all are well, off to read the New Posts now.

Re: It's Tuesday

Well, not a great day here! Darcy went into surgery this morning and after an hour and a half I was starting to panic! It seems that the hole is a lot larger than we expected and cannot be closed by our practice. She will need to be referred to a specialist soft tissue surgeon, with everything firmly crossed that it can be corrected.
I have to admit that I burst into tears when they told me. She's come round fine although a little bit sore and sleepy, just so worried about what will happen next.
Lx

Liz, that's awful All that pre op worry and now you've got to worry all over again. Sorry about that.

Nothing much to report here; started sunny and warm it's now warm but overcast with white cloud. I'm in the office and my Mum (bless her) has got both boys for what is the last day of their Easter holiday (hallelujah)!!

Re: It's Tuesday

Sorry to hear about Darcy, having to go through all that again!

Today was my first hair appointment with my new stylist while my regular one is on maternity leave. She did a good job I have to admit, so that was a relief! she was also a bit cheaper as my regular one is the senior stylist

It's been a lovely warm sunny day here, everything suddenly seems to have greened up this last week and I hadn't noticed!

Re: It's Tuesday

Oh poor Darcy I hope everything goes fine from here on out.

My sleep schedule is switched around so I go to bed in the morning and wake up in the later hours. Was irritated this morning as I'd been cleaning nonstop and K decided to make a huge mess. Then he forgot the one thing I asked him to do all day besides play computer games and the ferrets ended up in a no ferret zone and I caught them before any harm done they just made a mess and had fun but was really annoyed about it!
so i did a little bit of stitching, cooled off, and went to bed for five hours and now i'm up again to have some coffee and wake my mind up properly before Winnie's next syringe feeding and med scheduled (every 12 hours).
K went for ultrasound on his legs yesterday and it's worrisome because they are acting like the results are not so good. K is anxious about it and has not called them back yet to find out which bothers me of course. Possibility of clots again? Or maybe neurological damage which is why he has trouble walking. Just wonder if I should be getting ready for him to be in hospital again. At least it's not his heart this time.
Kinda overcast today but highs in the 60s so can't really complain.
