Kittens found on golf course

Well my Brother In Law just rang to say he almost brought me kittens this afternoon When I had recovered he went on to say some chaps playing found a box with three kittens in it tiny kittens with their eyes open but he said tiny (my you he thinks Cleo is small) he's not a cat man one of the kittens very quiet almost dead in his opinion.
The box had newspaper at the bottom, and shredded paper in too the lid was sellotaped up, but the box had air holes. It is a well used bit of the course and my BIL says it must have only been there today as someone would have seen it before plus the box was dry and it snowed here last night so if it had been there overnight it would have been damp wet.
The steward of the golf course phoned the vets and took them all to the local vets (which happens to be mine)
I asked him what colour and he said "Brown" I said what sort of brown he said "cardboard box brown"...............I meant the kittens he meant the box.... I leave it there. A none cat man.

I may ring tomorrow and ask how they are.

Edited to remove the name of the golf course

Well the goodthing is they left them in a box that had warmth albeit newspaper in it and in a place thats well frequented by people and in the a boxthat they would be relatively safe in a sealed box with air holes doesn't make it any better but given the cruelty in the world not as bad as it could be.
