No daily sunday??

Just thought i would start a daily eventhough its late so we stil had 1

We have had a busy day. Took barney to a dog show just to see how he coped with so many dogs around and he was brilliant!! Made us both soo proud of him!! We had him interacting with a male german shepherd which belonged to a friends sister and he was also sitting and laying down whilst there were soo many dogs around him. Doesnt sound like much of an achievement but a year tomorrow is when we got Barney and it has been a struggle due to his behaviour and lack of socialisation from a young age. This is such a big achievement for him.

Went to OHs folks later and had a bbq as its his mums birthday on Tuesday.

Hope evryone else has had a lovely sunday

Re: No daily sunday??

Belated Happy Sunday Pamela! Great how well Barney is getting on. I have found, especially with Monty, that dog shows are just brilliant - the dogs get almost overloaded with things going on and other dogs that they generally relax and (hopefully!) enjoy it! Unlike Barney, Monty came to us as a pup and was well socialised from the beginning but he can still have his unhappy moments where he takes a dislike to another dog for no reason - he's never had a bad experience.
