"O-Day" for Harley

Everything went well this morning. Harley came in looking for his breakfast and was put in the cat carrier fairly briskly by OH. I took him to the vet and he was a very good boy, although he did struggle free in the surgery, and sat on the window sill looking wistfully outdoors! Nice young lady vet was quite taken with him and he didn't bite or scratch anyone.

He will be neutered, his bloods taken and checked for FIV/FeLV, and he will be microchipped. The vet thought that his ear was damaged when he was a kitten, the cartilage has been broken and the ear has not grown as it should. She thought it would not cause any problems, but is going to have a good look at his ears while he is under. I have to phone around 3.00 to see when he can be collected.

I did take some Rescue Remedy and rubbed some into Harley's ears before we put him in the carrier. Not sure if it helped him, but I think it calmed me down a bit!
