Which would you prefer....Okay I have lovely neighbours we are not in each other pockets, but do look out for each other loan/borrow bits pieces etc I think I have only been in about 2 of their houses however lots of them have grown up children, and some no partners now due to death and some never had and live alone....some have children, some care for older parents/partners etc however I thought Credit Crunch....lack of good will we hear so much about how about a neighbourhood that rebelled  ....etc going on how about inviting some of them for a drink....(would do this in person ie knocking on th door tomorrow night)  My question is what day would you prefer? Christmas eve between say 4-6 or 5-7 (before everyone settles down) or Christmas morning.....I know lots are at home and I thought about 11-12 for a mince pie and a Christmas drink ...which would you prefer if you were my neighbour and would you feel like you would not come.....no one has doen this by me before I mean we go to funerals etc but I thought simoilar to that song "give them the flowers now" why not get together in good times...

I think Christmas Eve would be better! Christmas morning you can't guarantee they will be in (may be visiting family) |
