Firday's Thread

At home with Sebi today. Expecting my oak worktops today after last week's mucked up delivery. Am about to call them to see if it's on schedule. Sun's shining and Sebi's happily filling up the cat bowls with biscuits . . . repeatedly. I will brave a look around the table to see what he's done soon . . . honest

I have a rotten cold which is an annoyance as I have a 3rd assessment at the gym tonight. It means my performance levels will be down and not really representative. Hey ho

Re: Firday's Thread

Morning Yola, morning everyone

Looks like it may be another lovely day here, everything in the garden is growing well after several days of rain and now warm sunshine.

Cassie is halfway there to using her new food tray, she will actually put her front paws on it now................... then take a mouthful of food and deposit it on the floor to finish eating it! She'll get the hang of it one day, I'm sure..

Yola
~ I hope your 3rd assessment at the gym goes ok and your cold clears up soon..

Have a lovely day everyone, I hope the sun is shining on you too....

Good morning all, Been up since 5.30am not able to sleep at the moment. Been out with the dog, it was quite sunny earlier but clouding over now. Once again, nothing planned today although I might have to venture out to the supermarket later as there's no food in the house!
Hope everyone has a good day. X

Re: Firday's Thread

Morning everyone!

Hope anyone who is not feeling well starts to feel a lot better soon.

I've fallen for a telesales talk hook line and sinker! As a result, have a chap coming round this afternoon to "demonstrate" the new model of a vacuum cleaner. I've had the previous model for 21 - 22 years now and am still happy with it! When the woman phoned me earlier in the week she played to my vanity and asked if I would mind looking at the new model and giving them my feedback! I did say at the time I wanted no hard sell..... good technique that. I am usually SO GOOD at avoiding these sort of things ..... I'll let you know what happens and if I manage to avoid buying anything ....... let that be a lesson to you all - even if you think you're so strong, there's always a little psychological edge that can be found somewhere ....... But at least I am prepared (at least I think so.......)

Don't worry about the quiz Kazz - we missed you though!

Have a good day all - especially Elaine. Thinking about you, hun! Merlin sends purrrrrrrrrs

Re: Firday's Thread

Angie, just make sure the demonstrator tries it out on the whole house ........ you need to make sure it will do its job properly.......... and you get your whole house vacuumed for free!!
