Thursday half daily

Come on people..........get a grip. Its 1/4 to 4 hence my half daily title.
Hope everyone is okay the weather here is lovely bit on the chilly side but good for Spring (which I have decided it is) no more talk of winter.

May go to Crufts tomorrow but got a bit light headed today.... so not sure I want to risk Crufts its a bit of a crush and loads of walking....I'll see.

Anyhow anyone joining me with the half daily....

Re: Thursday half daily

It's overcast here but it's been sunny most of the day. I'm busy editing in-ear headphone copy from Swedish-English into something that passes for International English - it's a struggle.

Got a phone call to advise that the new school are formally offering the boys a place and that they thought my little imps were 'lovely and a delight'. Blimey - were they looking at someone elses kids ??

Balie parked his vanload all over my oak floor again last night. OH spent ages clearing it up before the boys came down for breakfast. I do despair. He's now avoiding the tray and will only pee on the large binliner surrounding it preferring the floor for poo. We're at the point where the smell is beginning to linger and I don't have the £4k for a new floor!

Re: Thursday half daily

Hmmmmmmm, sorry to be late - tea time here. Had our second candidate in the HXBTs today (Hot Cross Bun Trials). We mark on appearance, taste, texture and cost. Today's beat yesterday's.

It's been a cloudy day here, started off cold but warmed up a bit and the sun is out now. My gardener came this morning and is cutting down the snowberry which did well this year and all the berries were eaten by the birds. Some years the berries just rot, obviously they are not first choice. He said he had seen an albino fox as he was driving over this morning - I am wondering how rare they are. Has anyone else seen one?

Kazz, if you go to Crufts look out for my friend Rebecca - she'll be somewhere near the French Bulldogs!!! Not an exhibitor though.

Well done to your boys Yola - that's great. Are they happy to go to the new school?

Sorry about Balie - have you tried Moli's white vinegar solution as a cleaner/deodorant?

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day. I want another Hot X Bun!

Re: Thursday half daily

Angie, I was going to try it tonight. Firstly in an inconspicuous area though as the floor has a white oil finish and I don't want the vinegar to strip the oil off!

Lucky you with HXBs . . . all I've had is beef hula hoops (current addiction)!

Re: Thursday half daily

It's almost half past 11 am here on a mostly cloudy day, but nicely mild: 13 C (56 F), rain now postponed till tomorrow morning and will mess up most of the weekend. Bah! But at least not snow, although there are still some piles around well over a month after the last storm. No news here, no errands so slept late & pottering.

Good news about the boys, Yola, sorry Bailie is being difficult. I'd love to see a albino fox, never actually heard of one to be truthful. Kazz, if you go to Crufts will you have someone with you in case you feel dizzy?

Off to lunch and the noon news shortly, keep wel, all.

Re: Thursday half daily

Yola no surprise your boys got accepted ...we all knew they would be snapped up.

Eileen enjoy your pottering.........how did the bamboo clearance go find Lord Lucan?

Tink enjoy your Psych appointment maybe you should take a makeup cookie....

Angie You have never been to Crufts have you I have as much chance of finding your friend as a needle in a haystack..I'd be lucky to find the French Bulldog ring........ and I am enjoying your HXBTs trial will your publish the results...

Eileen I go to Crufts alone can't abide not being able to do what I want....I do meet up with loads of people through out the day though, at worst I'll make my way to Dawn on the DD stand and demand she take care of me...imagine BorderDawn my saviour.......

No ..... I've not been to Crufts, but I've watched it on the TV. My comment was a bit of a leg-pull really.

I will let you know what comes out top in our HXBTs - but it is a matter of taste!

Re: Thursday half daily

i am back..hehe Kazz i should have.
we're increasing meds and the part i really liked was she told me in the event i have to move she will write a document stating that my cats and ferrets are my therapy animals and should waive any no pets policy because it would be illegal for them to not accept me for my animals with that letter. my cats and ferrets are officially therapy animals..yay!
