Holiday in Portugal - inc. picturesWell yesterday we came back from our week in Portugal, weather was fantastic, so was the scenery, Portuguese people were very friendly, place was nice and clean, and most of the locals spoke english. I would recommend Portugal to anybody who wants a nice holiday. Great for families too as the Portuguese people love children and they are very well accommodated.

It is a beautiful place Dawn, I couldn't recommend it enough, food was VERY cheap the most we paid for wine was about £2, meals out were very cheap most being about £12-15 (for two people) for a three course meal, the most we paid for a meal was in Albureria, where we had a three course meal with a jug of Sangria for about £30 (for two people). Emma, what marvellous pictures...the scenery there is magnificent!!! Loved the views from your villa, especially the one with the enormous cycad (sago palm); but who would swim in the pool with that gorgeous beach so close?!! And the prawn cocktails made me hungry!! So glad you had a great holiday; thanks for sharing the pictures, and glad you're back!! |
