Thankyou all...it was so very quick and shocking..he was fine last night..and in the run with Bert all afternoon..but this morning something wasn't quite right when i was giving them brekkie..so i went to look for G-pig books to have a nosey about common ailments..come back and he was gone..but when you've had as many of the wee darlings as i have..you recognise when its the heart thats gone.. Its worst as he was only a tot... |

Thankyou all... Bert is only about *thinks* 13 odd weeks so is still young enough that he may accept another friend....and he is showing pining signs already so we will have to move quite 'fast'. Ernie will never be forgotten and we had a 'funeral' for him..Polly, Florrie, Clementine, Elsa n bert were all there...and i put the 'grand guinea-pig' headstone over him...its a BIG stone with all the names of those 'special' cavy friends of mine who are no longer here..and an eye painted just below their names..so they can still see out (as sad as it sounds) |
