It's Thursday's daily.

At last the fireworks have stopped. Had awful trouble with Millie during the Quiz <sorry folks> and she finally went to sleep about 10.30PM and was up again at 5.30am trying to be sick with stress.

Will finish my brew and head for a shower in preparation for the job interview at 11am. My tummy is in knots. I have been in my present job for the past 7 years and I think its time to move on and get out of my comfort zone.

Will just potter with Popsicle for the rest of the day and Millie is off to sleep at my parents tonight to give me a break.

All furry animals are fine and dandy but the weather I think is going to be a grey and dark one.

Hiya! It's all about Obama innit!
I'm off to work soon so just dropped in to say hello.
I've sent off my schedule for the Colourpoint Cat Club Show in January. Posh will be entered in 4 classes. It's virgin territory for me and her so I'm a bit scared! Kay is walking me through it, bless her. It'll be lovely to meet face to face and cuddle the cats of the peeps I know from here.

A misty old morning , hope it brightens up soon.

See you laters, Nette xxx

Morning all!

Fireworks were not too bad last night thank god! Hate the thought of my poor bunnies scared outside in the garden

Today it is damp and misty... but not raining so thats good.

Off to hospital at 9.30 for hopefully a diagnosis (can live in hope!!).... although after a bad night I feel I can hardly keep my eyes open... lets hope I get there in one piece!

Matron - good luck at the interview.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all

It's damp and gloomy here, hope the rain holds off until the outdoor jobs are done.

Went to my daughter's last evening for fireworks and hot dogs, very enjoyable..
My SIL bought a box of fireworks which were free of the 'big bangs' this year......Katie and Jamie get frightened by the noisy ones and must admit I don't like the really loud ones either. Their kitten, Mia, experienced her first fireworks .......and slept through it all, bless her!

Donna ~ hope all goes well at the hospital today.

Matron ~ good luck with the interview!

Enjoy your day everyone!

Good morning. The anti-cyclonic gloom continues. That's the weather not me - I'm not gloomy! Have finished my ironing, so am actually feeling very virtuous.

Re: It's Thursday's daily.

Morning all!

Good luck in the interview Matron

We had some general bangs quite far away last night, and my two only looked up at the window in wonder. But then somebody very nearby started setting of the "whheeeeeeee....BANG" ones that make a whee-ing noise as they go up, and even I jumped everytime they banged as they were so loud. Darcy hid under the bed and crept around, although Minsky didn't seem phased.

Another day of hectic work and then pushing myself at the gym again. I'm beginning to ache in a mild-way which means my body is at least responding to the physical effort I'm putting it through Must be a good sign!

Very misty and damp here, not as bitterly cold as it has been but the damp isn't too nice. Hope everyone has a good day!

Re: It's Thursday's daily.

Just been to the dentist for a check up, need to have a filling some point in the future Sebi again slept with us from about 12.30am but he went straight back to sleep without too much wriggling and kicking. He was in a foul mood this morning and wouldn't let me leave him.

Have 2 people of sick here with tummy bugs so need to crack on and get on with work bits. Cats seem better, but Myshkie's still scooting his pooey bum over any floor her can find

Re: It's Thursday's daily.

Very overcast, gloomy and mizzly rain here this morning.

Matron - do hope your interview goes well. Sorry that Millie was upset by the fireworks last night. I think that Steph thought he'd offended you when you "disappeared" during the quiz!

Donna - do hope you get some answers at the hospital.

Merlin ate hardly anything yesterday but has managed a small amount of the sensitivity food this morning.

I have loads of work to do, things are beginning to look like mountains, whereas they were only hills at the start of the week, so I must get on. Dare say I'll be back for "breaks"!

Have a good day everyone.

Re: It's Thursday's daily.

Donna, how awful! I'm really hoping they are able to give you some news about what's wrong. Do you think it might be one of those more nebulous and difficult-to-diagnose illness like ME? I'm sure you've got all kinds of worries running through your head, which probably aren't helping you get any better. Hugs, I hope it all starts to lift soon
