Some more cat piccies.

Candy, looking like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth- she's 13.

Misty, who's 20 can still put her in her place though. Please excuse the cat litter, its like this everyday.

They usually get on OK, but it was coming about feeding time and Candy was hovering around Misty's food bowl.

And Candy is the trouble maker in the family.

Ruled by their tummies, like my two! Although Kizzy always gives way to Pip and I have to take him away from her bowl.

Re: Some more cat piccies.

Thanks, I'm really pleased with Candy, because she got very thin for a while and was being sick every day. After loads of tests and x-rays she was diagnosed as having either IBD or a diffuse tumour. We could have had a biopsy done but as it wouldn't change the treatment we didn't go for it, and a couple of things did indicate it was possibly some sort of allergy. Anyway, after trying loads of special diets, which she went off of very quickly we tried her on Hi-life pouches and she hasn't looked back since. I do wonder if it was some kind of gluten allergy because hi-life has meat and tapioca- now usual cereals, whatever it is, it works -she has put on weight, her coat has improved and lately she has taken to scampering down the hall.
Misty has CRF and is going downhill slowly, but she is 20 and was going to be PTS at 18. We have to get her urine results back to find out if she needs to go on fortekor, but she still eating well and sleeping in front of her own, private heater so life can't be too bad and she is comfortable.

Re: Some more cat piccies.

Ginger cats are more commonly male, but there are ginger females too. The other fallacy is that torties are always female. It is possible for a tortie to be male, but they are usually found to have a chromosomeal difference from other males in that they are XXY rather than the usual XY (this occurs in humans too).

Loving the fluffed out look... reminds me of my two.. who never get on. They give each other evil stares all the time. Not just at dinner!
