Who Can We Donate To?

Hello everyone, I am hoping to spread the word about our new project, 10 Top 10 Lists For Cat Lovers! We donate to 10 different cat related rescues or shelters each month, and we need 3 more to add to the November list. It really helps us when we get personal references from people who have had actual contact with a shelter or rescue. We can't possibly visit all of them ourselves and we can only tell so much from a web site. Is there anyone out there that can tell us about a shelter or rescue that does a lot of good work on limited funds and could really use a donation? They need to have a website and be able to accept funds via Paypal. They can be anywhere in the world, big or small. Please see our site for full details and submission guidelines, thank you for your help.

Sharon

Re: Who Can We Donate To?

Forgive me for acting suspicious, but a new member starting a new thread on who wants money ? Sorry but sounds a bit fishy to me.

I apologise if you have a genuine case - but most people who raise funds for charities have no shortage of ideas where to put their money!

My understanding of it is they want information on charities (maybe I've got the wrong idea though)

Re: Who Can We Donate To?

Hmmm, very suspicous indeed.
I remember when i worked in the post office that there were alot of dodgy scams from people in Cananda, whether of not they were actually in Canada is a different matter. Usually older people who were coached on exactly what to tell the post office when questions were asked about the transaction. It basically involved the older people transferring thousands of pounds with a promise of gaining soo much more. Ofcourse many of the transactions didnt go through but I am sure that there were those who lost alot of money.
