Tuesday

Morning all, hi Angie, nice to have you back! Sorry about the lightening strike- sounds scary.
I'm off today in lieu of Saturday. I'm hoping to get into the garden to tackle the bindweed before it takes over completely! The weather forecast is OK ish so fingers crossed.
Apparently the weather may improve by the end of nex week and we might get a bit of summer after all!
Have a good day everyone.

Re: Tuesday

Morning! Sun is shining so we're off to the allotment shortly. Usually Dominik and I cycle but today we're also taking Sebi along on his bike so that should be a nerve-wracking trip as he needs careful watching when out on his bike - no fear

Re: Tuesday

Morning CS - yes, I'd heard that about the weather too and tbh, it can only get better! Although just now it doesn't look as if it's got a clue ..... I need to go to the garden centre today to get some John Innes No.3 as some friends have given me a lovely clematis to plant in a pot and I need some liquid feed too.

OH is out with Monty and then he'll be off to golf. In this very wet season, I think he's actually only missed one play-day when the course was waterlogged.

Computer chap coming over later this afternoon to make sure all is working well and to run me through Windows 7. I can't find any games .......... lost without Spider Solitaire! Printer's not working and I have the wrong transcription software but that's easily solved (fingers crossed!).

I've fingers crossed for little Ben - hope he begins to show some signs of improvement. It's so sad when such a wee one isn't well.

Enjoy your day folks.

Morning Yola! Hope the bike ride goes safely!

Re: Tuesday

Morning CS, Yola and all to follow.
Ypla, glad the weather is allowing you to get out with the boys.
Angie, hope everything is working ok on your new computer soon. I'm not realy into games but recently bought a Titanic game at the carboot and i love it. You have to dive to the wreckage and find treasure and all sorts of other things.
Just about to take the dogs out then it's back to get ready for work, not keen on working afternoons as the morning doesn't feel your own somehow. In September i will be working a tuesday morning instead.

Re: Tuesday

Morning all, oops! I meant Good Afternoon of course!

Hope the allotment's doing well Yola. Angie, I hate changes to my computer, my son always tweaks things when he comes over - sometimes it's good, other times..........

We bought Morgan a harness for our holidays last week, but the metal rings on it have started to show a few signs of rust, I'd assumed they would be rustproof I emailed the company and they've replied that they do not recommend regular immersion in salt water but as they don't say anything on their site, they're sending me a new one today so I'm really pleased and obviously I'll be more careful with the replacement making sure it's properly rinsed and dried.

Afternoon all.

Angie spider - left click your mouse over the world/windows orb on your task bar and you should see it but if not just type in games in the blank request box and it should highlight it for you.

Re: Tuesday

C.S Good luck in the bindweed fight. What a way to spend a day off eh....who'd be a gardener.

Yola Hove sounds a lovely idea for two boys....sunhats, milk bottles and a fishing net. A summer holiday to remember.

Shelley from choice I think I would prefer mornings to work than afternoons, working afternoons means you have to watch time......

Mrs H thats a short while for it to rust....I would not have expected that either I have to say, it would concern me about eh material part will that then rot. Glad they are sending you a new one. As a harness user do you find it better than a collar - I have always prefered to use a collar to a harness. Mind you never used a harness

Re: Tuesday

Oh I do hope wee rattie recovers well and quickly.

Computer chap has come and had to download games and Media player. Printer I'm afraid has also been fried, so a new printer is now needed. Sad, because it copies perfectly well it's just the computer to printer connection has been zapped. Other bits sorted, so nearly all well again.

Just off to give a game a whirl before bed time.
