Lazarus

Here's the cute wee fella, please keep sending possitive vibes as he is not out of the woods yet but hopefully he will get there and have a happy little life. He has become more wriggly and difficult to pick up, not in a nasty way but just coz he has a bit more energy in him.
I love the dear wee beastie xxx

Re: Lazarus

Awwww he is gorgeous

How big is that dish with the water in it? Looks big and deep but not sure whether it is or whether it's just because he's tiny. I think a small shallow dish would be better incase he's decides to jump in there but it's up to you

Re: Lazarus

The dish is very small Jane, Lazarus is tiny. I dont have anything smaller. I dont think he will jump in it though, infact he ignores it completely. He has a water bottle too so am thinking of taking the dish out altogether tomorrow.

Re: Lazarus

Thanx Eileen, he is very tiny. Graham keeps refering to Indy as the Big Fat Rat in comparason with Lazarus, she is massive.

Re: Lazarus

Tsk, not nice of Graham!! Indy is a cutie, too; can hamsters live together or are they not very social?

Re: Lazarus

No, not Syrian hamsters, they only come together for mating purposes. Other than that they can fight to the death. Naturally solitary creatures once they have left the nest.
