Awwww he is gorgeous How big is that dish with the water in it? Looks big and deep but not sure whether it is or whether it's just because he's tiny. I think a small shallow dish would be better incase he's decides to jump in there but it's up to you |

The dish is very small Jane, Lazarus is tiny. I dont have anything smaller. I dont think he will jump in it though, infact he ignores it completely. He has a water bottle too so am thinking of taking the dish out altogether tomorrow. |

No, not Syrian hamsters, they only come together for mating purposes. Other than that they can fight to the death. Naturally solitary creatures once they have left the nest. |
