Meet our new cat

Here she is. She's 8 weeks old now. She is called

Tiger Lilly Pumpnin

Long story about the choice of name, but please note it's pumpnin as opposed to pumpkin

Re: Meet our new cat

Oh - look at that!

Is she from the little litter you have in? The one with the much darker s/h tortie girl? I thought Kazz would take her (and call her Grace/ie or Ruth/ie). Shows how well my intuition bone is working, eh? At least I can't be accused of being a witch.

What news on the rest of the litter?

that's right.
They were found with their tortie mom when they were 5 weeks old.
Tiger Lilly Pumpnin ( ) is staying here & the others have gone to a fosterer now - the 2 kittens are reserved (yes the dark tortie & there is a B&W boy) mom will be spayed soon & hopefully find a home.

Re: Meet our new cat

So what is her 'call name' going to be?
Tiger/Tiggie
Lily?
Pumpy?
Ninny?
You hava a good choice there
Don't be about her name. I assume the girls chose it, in which case no bother. Now if you or John chose it ....... well, hang your head in shame!

Re: Meet our new cat

Ashleigh fell in love with her & asked if she could keep her, we said we weren't sure but she could do some socialisation with her & her brother & sister in the house. She said she was the only person in our house who didn't have her own cat (Although they all belong to all of us, John got Smudge for me when she was a kitten, Bluebell is Johns cat as we all know, and Emily follows Lucy around & always sleeps on her bed). So we decided we would keep her & Ashleigh could choose the name, Ashleigh wanted her cousins to choose the name so younger cousin suggested Tiger, older cousin suggested Lilly, then their mom (my sister) suggested how about Tiger Lilly - GENIUS! Ashleigh & Lucy were impressed, then I made a suggestion that she should have a halloween name as we decided to keep her on halloween night! The girls agreed & I said how about pumpnin (reason being when Lucy was growing up, she has always pronounced it pumpnin and not pumpkin, so it's a bit of a joke in our house that we often say pumpnin when we mean pumpkin.

Told you it was a long story.

So there you have it - Tiger Lilly Pumpnin

The girls call her Lilly.
