Tell me about your cat!!

Hi

I am new on here. I have two furries but they are rescues and to be honest I dont think I know that much about cats!!
Dont get me wrong mine are perfectly happy! But was wondering if you Catsey folk could possibly post a pic of your cat and tell me the breed so I can become more familiar?
Any facts you think I should know about cats (no matter how random!).

And also would you say most people on here own pedigrees or moggies?!
And anything else that is going on in the cat world

This is Cassie, my 12 year old tortoiseshell moggy... she is quite a timid girl who doesn't like strangers...

We have a fair mixture of pedigree and moggies on here but have one thing in common.....we all love cats whatever their breed..

This is Leia, she's a 9 year old domestic shorthair (moggy) blue torbie. Blue is the Cat Fancy word for a grey cat; a torbie is a cat with a TORtoiseshell coat and taBBY markings on face, legs, tummy and tail.

She's an indoor cat, but an excellent mouser when they come in! She's sweet natured, laid back and a picky eater...hates people food and fish. Impossible to pill! She's a big girl, 14 pounds.

Hello Smartie - Welcome from me too! Merlin (above) is a 23 year old cat that has lived with me since he was approx 12 weeks old. He is a dark tabby DSH - Domestic Short Hair (moggie). As a venerable old gentlecat, he does not go outdoors much, except in warmer weather and spends most of his time asleep in front of the fire. Just where we should all be over the next few days I think.

Here's Dylan being a flirty boy with the camera as usual! He's a 3 year old domestic shorthair (be 4 this year). We got him as a rescue and he loves attention from any adult who happens to look at him!

Hi and welcome to Catsey.

This is Eva (the Diva), coming up for 5 yrs old, semi long hair moggie. A very sensitive large female, prone to stress, vocal and pretty.

This is Bernie, again semi long hair moggie. Aprox age is 4 and a half, rescued in North Wales and delivered to me with help from friends. He's a drooler and has a very laid back personality. He's my scruff pot.
