Happy Birthday to The London UndergroundEvidently, the Underground is 150 years old today! Here is a link with tempting facts: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/de...ube-facts.html I haven't been to London for many years now, but always used to like to travel on the Underground - so much easier than buses. If you knew whether you wanted to go N,S,E or W I found I couldn't get lost!

Like Yola I love the London Underground and as I was born and bred in London I used it a lot, for a few years to commute to work every day. It has a magic and many happy memories of childhood. |
