Bany Oscar - aged just 7 weeks

Got a phone call this morning from Rescue to say little Oscar had died during the night. This was the little kitten that been found in the river & we were going to adopt.

The vet thinks he may have had pnemonia which hadnt shown up
or he had picked something up in the river.

Its so sad, had been out during the week & bought new bowls, litter tray & toys for him. We agonised over his name & grew to love this wee ginger boy that we were bringing home in two weeks. Sadly, it wasnt meant to be .......

Scamper wild & free little Oscar. Play safely & happily with the angels. Your little life was too short.

You touched our hearts & we wont ever forget you xx

Oh I am so very sorry to hear this news Velvet - that dear wee one, such a short life but although he had a horrid start, he had known care and love. Run free little lad, play with all the other Catsey cats that have gone before.

Didn't realise that he would have been coming to you Velvet - I am sorry he won't be one of your pride now.

Re: Bany Oscar - aged just 7 weeks

We decided almost the day he came in to take him. Last one, i had said a white one but this was a wee one that needed a home so we agreed we would have him. After all, whats colour, its the wee individual that each & every cat is that makes them so special.

I do agree, but he was a delightful colour and the sort of kitten who should have melted everyone's heart .... except of course the heartless person who condemned him.
