strange request from vet!Tizzie has been to the vet this week. We thought she had dental problems, as 'spots' kept appearing on the duvet cover where she had been sleeping. She's an old baby (16+) and has had one lot of dental work. So, made the appt & went off. Vet looks, says no, teeth are good. Eye is a bit gloopy though. We say yeah, you know about that, blocked tear duct, you've tried to clear it surgically but couldn't make a path through, her eye is always a bit weepy. Vet says 'think she may have a bit of an infection in it - can you bring the duvet cover round for me to see?'  How embarrassing is that?  But we did, and it is, and she has drops and all is fine now. Pic below. Note squishy ( left) eye. Also note that she has reclaimed her bed - the puppy outgrew it!

Awwww glad she's ok DM. You really worry about them when they get old don't you. Sam used to leave lots of marks around the place but he used to dribble alot and the vet told me it was due old age!! |
