Gentle hugs for the lovely Bernie-boo. Glad to hear that he's still enjoying life. I bet you've thought of giving something like Nutrigel, although I'm not sure it would help him. |

Bernies chest muscles are wasting away, without exploratory surgery, we dont really know why. There is the possibility that there is now a secondery tumour which is blocking the blood supply to the nerves, causing the localised muscle wastage. Thats the bad news. The good news is that he has put some weight on and has no muscle wastage anywhere else. His breathing is fine and his heart seems fine. So we will just leave him be and let him enjoy life for as long as he has quality. |
