This is a thread I will be very interested in as I have a big problem with sleep. I reckon 5 out of 7 nights a week I average 2 - 3 hours sleep a night. It is not uncommom for me to be still awake at 5 or 6 in the morning I've tried the lavender oil on the pillow thing.....no luck Warm bath before bed....no luck I have tried Nytol....no luck Valerian....no luck Reading.....no luck Hot drink (but not milky as I hate milk!).....no luck Have got a posturepaedic mattress......no luck.... My son bought me a book called "Desperately Seeking Snoozin'", the Insomnia Cure from Awake to Zzzzzzzz by John Wiedman.......I am halfway through it but nothing is 'happening' yet! I haven't seen a doctor about it as the last thing I want is to be prescribed sleeping tablets Soooooooo......I would welcome any help please! |
