Thanks all Chesi's a rescue many years ago. I'm told he was rejected by the breeders because his paws were the wrong colour, can you believe it, and was so frightened in his new home he hid behind and inside the chimney breast for 3 days. Took me a good while for him to trust me and he'll always be very timid around anyone new. He comes to me for his favourite things: tippy-up cuddles, floor hugs, and brushing. I hear it's a typical Birman thing but not come across such a sweet natured cat like Chesi before. Mitzi teases him something rotten by standing on guard the other side of the cat flap and taking a poke at him as he flies past. I swear he mutters a little friendly chirrup to her under his breath as he comes in! The photo with his little sis shows just how small Mitzi is. |
