Royal Canin...which one?

I have been reading your opinions about RC cat food and have decided to try it out on Belle and Merlin however when researching the different types of food I'm all confused over which one would be best?

Belle is approx 6 and Merlin 1 yrs old. They are both indoor and outdoor cats and are not very fussy and neither have sensitive tums.

Do I go for Beauty, lively or something else???

I don't know! The ones I use are Persian, Intense furball and Oral Health, but don't suppose any of those are relevant to your two.

Have you looked on the RC website? They present profiles of what food is suitable for which cat type.

I bought a small bag of RC adult and they seemed to like it. Will give it a whirl for the next few days before I decide to convert.

I use the sensible type with mine and they love it, it seems very palatable. (not that I've tried it! lol) I suppose it depends on whether you have a particular breed or need, such as the light one. For general use I find the 'sensible' is good.

I don't think the RC is a goer. They like it but not as much as Natures Menu which I bought too.

All mine have Sensible 33 and love it!! I have tried others in the range and also other brands but they prefer the Sensible no quibble!

Re: Royal Canin...which one?

I gave up on the RC as they prefered a wet and dry combo.

I feed wet food twice a day as well as leaving the RC down for them to 'graze' on
