So sorry to hear that Eileen, I can't begin to imagine what you must be feeling like....it's cold here but we get nothing like the temperatures you are experiencing at the moment... Stress to the plumber that you are a senior citizen and hopefully they may make it a priority on their list. Meanwhile try to stay warm......have you any other type of heater that can at least keep one room warm? Take care, keep warm and don't worry about Catsey....we'll be here waiting for your return (((hugs))) xx |

Callback....the plumber will be here today! Oh indeed I did emphasize the freezing senior citizen bit; trouble is there are a lot of people in the same situation. Luckily the first plumber I called is one that my neighbor down the block owns; I suspect that helped. Anyhow, we're still freezing but help is on the way, and I can natter on now! Poor Leia does not understand why her nice warm radiator isn't warm....... |

What a relief. How on earth did we all manage before? When I was a child there was only the coal fire in the kitchen and living room. Our bedrooms must have been baltic. I hope the plumber arrives soon DM. |
