Well good morning everyone. Its is pouring down here overcast and heavy rain. Bella has been dried twice already from her walks and her towel is in the tumble dryer ready for a bit later. Her coat will come into action this time. Welcome "Philo" and "Smudge" That's lovely P.P that your SIL's mother has been adopted. We have a new cat around here who keeps sniffing around I am sure though he (think its a he) has a home he is just a youngster not a kitten but not far off sadly Bella hates cats she will now walk past and ignore them but if they stop and stare or try to get into the garden she is not good. So this youngster better learn quick think he will. We are scanning the garden before letting her out the back at the moment just in case. I can almost here my cat hating cat Oscar thinking "Yes at last" Anyhow not doing much going to get a few electricians in to give a quote for a couple of extra sockets and changing singles to doubles. Still quite tired but head feels a lot clearer today maybe not tomorrow but today. Starting my swimming next week and maybe a Yoga or similar class. I am not rushing back to work as of yet, the Doctor did indicate that stress was a contributing factor to strokes how much of a factor I am not sure but obviously some or he would not of mentioned it. P.P Safe journey back from Torbay, pleased overall the weather has been good. |

Well the thunder storm has arrived here well and truly and Bella par for the course is petrified. Mind you we have thunder lightening and I think hail....although I cannot open the bedroom curtains to see and have only fools and horses on as loud as I can get it but to be honest I know its the change in the "feel" rather than the sound that she dislikes. But she is in one place under the dressing table with towels and pillows around her. |

evening all, back in Scotland now i'm pleased to say. We have got the food shop out of the way and of course trawled the charity shops. I found a lovely big decorative plate made in western germany for £3. It's a very tranquil water scene. Glad you enjoyed your break Nette and good news that you SIL's mum has adopted the little stray, i once found a kitten at the hairdressers. Karen, i can reccomend Yoga, i've been going for years and feel very chilled when i come out. |

Think it's actually stopped raining now. The river was very high when we took the dogs out. We had thunder terrible when I was at Mum's. Got presents of Essie, one of the cats. A slow worm and a mouse. The slow worm nearly got away under the cooker! She brought a weasel in last week. Essie and Lizzie both bring things in live and just let them go then refuse to catch them again. They only do outside catching things!! My brother once found a little live mouse in the toe of his rigger boot on his way to work one morning! |
