I would recommend you try bathing Harris' eye with cold tea bag ..... it might just help and would certainly sooth the eye if it's irritating him. Monty had quite a bad case of red eye at New Year, when nothing was open so couldn't get out to buy something. I posted on the Schnauzer forum and cold tea bag was suggested. It worked a treat - people on that forum seem to swear by it for their dogs and it's always the first thing to try. Don't forget to take the tea bag out before you put milk in and let it cool down first, it can be just warm though. Good luck. |

thanks angie, thats the same remedy my mum has told me to do aswell, will give it a try later as he isnt letting me near to pick him up. hes in 1 of those playful moods today!! |

I haven't tried it as he has had it opened no problem today. Seems alot better. I did clean it last night and it has been watering a wee bit today so must have cleaned it. Still a wee bit swollen looking though but will judge it tomorrow and see how it is. |
