Have decided that at some point today in between seeing Porsha that I will get back on Bootsy after about 3 months out of the saddle We had a new farrier put some different type of shoes on him yesterday. If these don't work for him then the last resort is a specialist farrier in Nottinghamshire. We will have to box him up and take him to him. So really hoping these shoes are going to work for him. After so long out of work, chances are he will be a real giddy kipper so if I'm not back later, chances are I am in A&E |

oooh Fran - hope you've got a big botle of Radox to ease out your stiffness after your ride. It's a lovely day here - not least because MIL goes home today. It has not been the best of visits Have taken Min to the vet for her 1-month-into-treatment blood test. He was pleased with her externally and she has gained a little weight. The blood test will determine whether she stays on the blood-pressure medication. Results later. She is on low protein diet for life now; good job she likes it. I asked about 'home cooked'. The answer is - the fatty bit of meat, chicken skin, fish skin, bulked up with potato/rice/pasta. It will be nice if she can have the occassional 'something different'. Should have put all that in the 'Health' section, shouldn't I? PS - my son & daughter get on very well and always have, really. They're just great mates now they're adults, and share many of the same circle of friends. They're very close in age. |

Morning all!! Garden demolition man and skip arrived on schedule and garden is being ripped apart as I type. Office is a drag. I have a sales man who WILL NOT take direction from me, as a woman. He will engage with Ken and just ignore me. I sent an email around yesterday which I knew he'd kick back against (despite it being a perfectly reasonable request), and as I thought he hasn't even had the courtesy to respond to me, but went running straight to Ken. I'm VERY angry as a result Picking up Domi at midday as he breaks up today. Tomorrow he'll be starting his holiday care (also at the school) so there will be no real change in pattern except he won't have his uniform on and I'll have to make packed lunch for him. Right - must get on . . . . lots to do |

Afternoon all. Been busy shopping this morning, spent almost £20 on cleaning products we had run out of. Disenfected bathroom floor, tiles, loo, sink bath and shower. (oh what fun) Been EXTREMELY adventurous today (for me) and bought some of those nescafe sachets of coffee- hazelnut flavour. All I can say is why does anyone drink normal coffee with these yummies around? Have latte to try later, next time I go back I am getting amarillo (not armadillo!!!) and vanilla latte. off to do some much needed weeding this PM. Also brought several cat items from a stall in our high street for the PDSA, a 22ct gold plated book mark, a pewter pin badge of a persian, an enamel pin badge of a cat with a ball of string, a fridge magent that says "in a kittens eyes all things belong to it"and a cross stich chart. have a good day fran- hope bootsy is ok. yola- GO KICK SOME MALE BUTT!!!! that is so sexist of that man, and would annoy me too |
