Daily thread - Easter Monday

Morning all,

It has been a long time since I started a new daily thread

Cold but nice and sunny here today

Off to the gym in a bit, then popping into Pets a home to pick up some cat food and litter.

Hopefully this afternoon if it isn't too cold and wet I will plant my new plants

Have a good day everybody

Morning Emma, morning all, not much planned for today. Going to let the pups have run of the house today, that should be fun

Have a great Easter Monday!

Re: Daily thread - Easter Monday

I just can't get myself into gear at the moment. Feeling eternally tired Need to go to the DIY place to price up a new dining room floor, the boards are splitting quite badly now and I don't want the boys to get splinters. Some hardwood boards might be nice I think.

Then its off to Waitrose as we're bereft of food and then, if the hail subsides we might go to the steam fair (vintage fairground rides driven by steam engines).

Off to grab a showe in a minute

Re: Daily thread - Easter Monday

I got motivated this morning by Kado paddling on me trying to wake me up at 630am wasnt to pleased so i got up put a load of washing in the drier. I then went to see the cats i am looking after. Had to go to another friends house as they had run out of cat food. Then let maple out in another house. Were probaly going ot take the kids out somewhere today. Apart from that not much more apart from going into see too the cats. I realy am loving it though.

Re: Daily thread - Easter Monday

Well I should be at work but Dave's Dad had a stroke on the 7th and is still in hospital he was getting a bit better but last night had a turn for the worse. So spent some of the night there back home now.
Anyhow weather is back to sleet here; there goes my attempt to plant.

Everyone have a good day. Off to look for curtains and maybe quilt cover/bedding I've decorated the 2nd bedroom
onto the hall next well its striped and I have undercoated and glossed the landing and stairs just the hall doors to go. Then papering. All systems go. I am moving onto the living room next. In between gardening I mean.

Lovely sunny day here, cold out though. Vets onto the 7th lambing/caesar today so it's sounding very spring-like here with all the lambs outside.
Not much planned today, housework mainly and some food shopping.
Looking at booking a holiday before kitten is ready to come home so will be doing some research, haven't had a holiday since October '06 so looking forward to it!

Re: Daily thread - Easter Monday

Afternoon everyone! Grey and cold here - just had a hail/sleet shower so definitely will not be planting my plants today! Gosh it's cold.

Sorry to see about Dave's Dad Kazz.

Feeling tired today - just had a whole hour on the sofa cuddling Merlin! Dozed off too, he is such a lovely warm furry bundle to cuddle and a real lap warmer - just what you need on a day like today.

Enjoy your day whatever you do peeps!

Afternoon all! Hail??? You are having some unpleasant weather lately... It's sunny but still chilly here, 6 degrees; did my market run for some different tins of cat food. Leia has suddenly decided she doesn't like the varieties she has enjoyed recently...cats!!

Kazz:
sorry to hear about Dave's dad...
Angie: bless that Merlin! A live purring heating pad...

Have a nice afternoon .....

Hello all. Lovely sunny day so I decided to mow the lawn... got half way through and I could see the black clouds heading in across the fields, it was like something out of a movie.... Anyway it hailed heavy and hard. So all back in, grass half cut and now the sun is back out!!!
I'm going out for tea tonight. Looking forward to it.
Kazz Sorry to hear about Dave's dad, hope all goes well
Angie Give that lovely Merlin a cuddle from me
DM Denis is doing that with his food lately too I have four different boxes and he isn't keen on any of them
