Kitty's got worms!

When I picked Kitty up from the rescue, they said they had wormed and deflead her, so I wasn't expecting to find worms on our bed last night!

Been to the vets this morning, who said they are tapeworms, given her a wormer, her 1st vacc as the rescue didn't know if she was vacc/spayed, and as for her podgy tummy, the vet had a good feel and doesn't think shes pregnant(thank god!).

If she does come into season I will have her spayed asap.

Back to the vets in 3 weeks for her 2nd vacc, then will have to wait and see if she shows any signs of a season before I let her start going outside.

The joys of pets, my puppy is in tomorrow to be neutered too!

Hope things start to pick up soon.
Sounds as though the rescue might not have been as good as one would hope?
