Dietary Alert collars for cat:

What do you think would be the best wording to have printed on a collar to stop people (neighbours etc) from feeding a cat that must only eat a specific diet and is on medication. Choices are:
1. "Veterinary Alert - Please do not feed me"
2. "Medical Alert - Please do not feed me"
3. "Specialist diet - Please do not feed me"
or maybe you have another suggestion? Thanks for your thoughts!

Re: Dietary Alert collars for cat:

A few months ago one of our neighbours put a note through everyone's letterbox asking people not to feed their cat, Sam, as he was on a diet. Maybe you could do similar explaining that your cat needs a special type of food and any other makes him/her poorly.

OH! Thanks for your suggestion but I am thinking of getting these collars made up for general use. It is such a big problem (as a vet nurse) getting a clients cat happily used to a prescription diet (or medication) only to have it scuppered by a (often well meaning) neighbour.

I can appreciate the problems ....... maybe a bit less formal? "My cat needs a special diet - please do not feed" maybe a bit too lengthy.

Maybe 'I need a special diet, do not feed'.
