Chloe

I know I have posted before about Chloe being very distant/shy, but think she is improving a bit.

For the last few days my daughter has NOT picked her up at all, and has been talking to her lots and playing with her. She seems happy to "talk" back and follow her around and has even jumped up and sat on her lap. Which has never happened before.

I think Emma had over handled her in the past and this has caused some of Chloe's problems, but now Emma is trying to correct this and is helping me by not picking her up and Chloe seems happier.

Sometimes I think cats just dont like being picked up.

Re: Chloe

Cassie doesn't like anyone picking her up...not even me I think her problem was that she wasn't handled enough when she was small

I'm glad Chloe is improving now Donna...it sounds like she is getting more confidence too. Well done to Emma for trying to correct it!

Tabs has never liked being picked up. We have had her from a ridiculously young age (5 weeks! :shock) and she is very well socialised, lives with dogs and watched my little boy grow up (now 3). She will come sit on your lap or next to you on sofa or on bed IF SHE WANTS. Pick her up and she wont speak to you all day!

Re: Chloe

Then that is her problem.

Its not Misty bullying her. Its that she HATES being picked up. Will make sure Emma sticks to her word and leaves her alone. She will hopefully keep on improving and getting more sociable.
