Friday

Morning everyone, just.
Last day here for us, unfortunately we have to return to reality tomorrow.
Been out on the beach this morning and now just washing the bedding and towels.
Yesterday we went on a lovely circular walk in Portpatrick. We went over the cliff walk, took in two tiny coves and the walked through a glen before returning to Portpatrick.
Hope you all have a nice day.

Re: Friday

Morning Shelley - I bet you are wondering where the time has gone ..... hope you have a good journey home tomorrow.

OH has been to have a contact lense assessment this morning and came home wearing some - not his complete prescription but he can drive as has his distance vision and he has four days' worth of lenses and another appointment in a fortnight. He wants to be able to wear the daily sort for playing golf and walking the dog when it's pouring with rain.

I took Monty for his quick relief walk this morning and we are going out for a longer walk this afternoon. Lovely warm day here with a bit of a breeze. It was chilly first thing.

I am just waiting for a phone call from a firm that I have ordered a craft table from ...... they phone for payment details and of course I missed their call while I was out with Monty.

Have a grand day folks!

Re: Friday

Hiya all

Hope everything is good.
Shelley is the "Summer" over already, wow. You should enquire about being a tourist guide with the ammount of "secret places" you have found. Looks like the caravan has been a brilliant idea had you thought of it for long before getting it?
And just think you can and will be going back - soon.

Angie sounds like Monty is growing up; any more thoughts on another pup yet? and what would mix well with Monty?
I going to have a sort out of holiday clothing and put it in a wardrobe in the spare bedroom.
Would like to try and get something done in the garden just got to pluck up the vavavhoom to get started. once I get started I am fine its getting started.

Re: Friday

Angie, what crafts do you do ? It will be nice to have your own craft table.
Karen, how exciting to be getting your holiday clothes ready, hope you got started on the gardening.
Yes Karen we always dreamed of having a static caravan, it means we can holiday with the dogs.
Mind you I would like to live up here permanently.

Re: Friday

Atm mainly calligraphy, Shelley, although I dabble in other things too, such as watercolour but I'm not good at it, it's a very exacting medium IMO.

It's a nice basic table with storage on one side.

Re: Friday

I remember trying calligraphy at college Angie and found it difficult.
We have all had a go at painting stones up here,it's quite tricky as the surface isn't smooth.
I have also restrung and cleaned a friends antique doll which of course I thoroughly enjoy.

Re: Friday

Hi all, worked at home this morning and had the afternoon off so got ahead with the housework.

I hope you get home safely Shelley. When is your cruise Kazz? Our holiday is moving up and two weeks today we will be in Dorset.

I'm rubbish at crafts Angie - the only one I have mastered is rug making.

Keep warm everyone - it is certainly feeling autumnal!

A cottage. Slightly worried as it is in the area where there have been cliff falls and it is called Cliff Cottage..........

Re: Friday

Well the fact it has a name means it has not fallen off the edge.......I am sure it will be brilliant I like Dorset something about just the word "Dorset" makes you think summer and relaxing days dosen't it.
