Bomb Scare in Coventry today; i was there.

There was a huge bomb scare in the city centre today, a friend and I were in shopping when everybody was evacuted to around Godiva statue. There were so many people crammed there it was unbelieveable. The police taped off most of the city centre tbh, and it took a fair few hours before it was deemed safe.
Was a bit of a knee shaker of an experience to see Bomb Disposal units swarming everywhere!

That must have been pretty frightening, glad no one was hurt.

That's very frightening! Spending much of my early years in London, there were several (IRA) bomb scares/actual explosion aftermaths that I was caught on the periphery of, but never actually was involved in one. Being in an evacuation and all the guys in their full protective kit must've been a bit of a worry. Glad it amounted to nothing.
