Stupid things

Stupid things you have done or happened to you.

Ok I could probably write a book but here's one.
I was starting a part time job as a taxi radio controller. It was a private hire company. They said that they would send a car for me at a certain time. I watched out the window. Right enough a car pulled up and waited. I came out jumped in the car and started chatting. Oops it was a relative of a neighbour coming to collect them

Re: Stupid things

Ordered chinese take out whilst staying in Cornwall with another couple. Had good few wines and then a car outside the chalet (on the complex) beeped so I went out. Chinese guy gets out the car so I gave him money and waited for the meal...... He looked at me very puzzled gave me the money back and then asked where his chalet was. He had come to stay at the complex, with his wife who then got out the car!!! So I ended up showing him where his chalet was as though I worked there.....I couldn't believe how I had assumed what I did

Re: Stupid things

I have done sooo many heres one of them

I was in London and I walked into my bank to put some money in my account. I gave the girl my account details - no account??! I was like yes I do have an account I have been with you for years. She got the manager and I insisted I had an account with them - he even phoned the bank up here in Falkirk and they couldn't find details of me. I was starting to get very irate at this point and said I have been with the Bank of Scotland for years - then they said this is the Royal Bank of Scotland the bank you want is next door

Just sitting eating having a cup of coffee and reading the Sat Daily Mail Magazine, I am watching the TV Sat morning chef programme "they are doing another vote thing on British chefs to cook this time for the French Ambassador or something.

Wekll I am watching this an thinking to myself "that smells nice".....Its Tv remember ...I didn't I get off the chair to rinse my cup out and realise the oven is on and I am "cooking" those part baked rolls. That where the lovely smell is coming from my own Oven..
