Benny just met him in the kitchen! Fur up, tails like brushes but only a hiss (from Benny). Not too bad for a first meet! They are now separated by a door. The kitten is called Casper, but I will change it. I reckon he must be around 4 months old. Have noticed he does like to sharpen his claws on the furniture. I will need to nip that in the bud! If he would stay still long enough, I will get a picture. |

Congratulations on your new Kitten, i look foward to hearing more about him and Benny. I think the only thing you can do is let them get on with it, it is scary and there is bound to be lots of hissing and spitting etc but as long as the kitten isn't getting hurt it is important for the pecking order to be established. |

Am scared! Dont want them to meet yet!! Up until now, its the wee one who is squaring up for a fight. He wants to go for Benny, but I have been on the receiving end of those talons. One swipe and the wee one wil be floored!! I dont have a scratch post, it wasnt an issue with Benny, but the wee one has started on my table, so will have to get one. |
