Moli and the Black Cat

Ther has been a big black cat in our garden the past few days, not sure why it's suddenly appeared againa s the last time I saw it was when Sox disappeared back in November last year

Anyway, I was sat by the window having a cuppa when this big (about double the size of little Mols) jumps up on the windowsill, about 2 seconds later Moli jumps up on the other end of the window sill. They just sit there staring at each other for a few minutes then the black cat jumps down and disappears from the garden.

Moli looked well pleased with herself for getting rid of this 'intruder' Poor mite tho, she was soaking so knocked the door to come in

There's a limit to what you can allow to sit on your windowsill. She's obviously not going to share her personal space or slave with an outsider, seeing how hard it it to get the right garden and good staff these days.
Nice show of confidence from Moli - good work.

He must have got the message cos we haven't seen him since

She does allow one cat into the garden and share her food and that's the massive black and white cat from the house behind us. She's not bothered by that cat. At the moment Mol's is sleeping on a towel in the bathroom cos it's the sunniest spot in the house at the moment

I love the way cats have their little circles of friends and lists of enemies. Love it when 3 or 4 gather, appear to do nothing, then all depart again. You can sort of imagine them saying 'same time tomorrow Charlie?' 'Yup, see you Ginger' ' Bye all, hope you get pilchards tonight' etc

They ALWAYS find the sunniest spot in the house when the radiators are off & they can't bake themselves there ! lol
