Bernie

Goes in for his dental on Thursday, feeling a little aprehensive about it tbh. He has always been my little scruffpot but is looking a little more scruffy than normal. Not sure if I would be over reacting if I were to ask them to run a blood panel at the same time.
Milly was to to go in for her claws to be clipped under sedation, as she goes mad a bit like Eva did, but I have decided against it. Have G working on playing with her feet etc and we wil just try to persivere with her.

Re: Bernie

Elaine, you always say that a person is their pet's best advocate. If you think it would put your mind easy to have Bernie's bloods checked, go ahead. I'll be thinking about you and Bernie-boo on Thursday.

Re: Bernie

If you are worried, get the bloods tested- better to be safe than sorry, that's my motto.
I don't care if folk think I over react anymore- at least I'm not worrying about something that is easily checked.

Re: Bernie

I agree with angie, if you've 'got a feeling' then go with it, better safe than sorry x

Re: Bernie

You know him best so if there is that little bit of doubt in your mind get the bloods done.

Rather laugh at yourself for being worried over nothing than kick yourself for not going with the gut feeling.

Re: Bernie

Have had a chat with my vet, cancelled Millys' apt.
Going to run a blood test on Bernie and also test for FIV.

Hope Bernie goes on alright with his dental Elaine and that his blood test doesn't show any thing bad.
